Adapted by InsightAnaltytical-GRL from the poem by Clement C. Moore
…on the occasion of the arrest of Rod Blagojevich and John Harris …and in “HOPE” of what may transpire in the future…
***
‘Twas the night before Fitzmas, when
all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a
mouse;
The stockings of PUMAs hung by the chimney
with care,
In hopes that St. Fitz would soon safely be
there;
The PUMAs were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of indictments danced in
their heads;
And mamma in her ‘kerchief, and I in my cap,
Had just settled our brains for a long
winter’s nap,
When out on the lawn there arose such a
clatter,
I sprang from my bed to see what was the
matter.
