Right about the middle of George W. Bush’s second term, the cartoon (below) was circulated around the internet.
The labels describing parts of the Republican anatomy in terms of their politics were spot on.
However, at the time I couldn’t help but get the feeling that the picture of the “Republican” looked suspiciously like a Democrat…in particular, an Kennedy of some sort.
Well, I was cleaning out my workspace (and have been for quite a few days, which is part of the reason I haven’t been posting much…nothing like setting up a new office workstation!)….anyhow, I was digging through a pile of stuff and came across this ‘toon which used to sit prominently on my bulletin board.
Anatomy of a Republican...Democrat
Still looks like a Kennedy to me…and, guess what? The political labels sound an awful like they fit Democrats these days, too!
About the only change I’d make is the bottom one on the right…
“Democrat blamer….”
Change that to “Republican blamer” and I think we’ve got a cartoon that we can recyle to a large degree for today’s political scene and our “leader” Obama.
