Why Chris Matthews Has Nothing to Worry About…

(Disclaimer: I swear that I had NOTHING to do with the 2001 piece quoted below. Really. I mean it. Just like I had nothing to do with it when it first appeared at Buzzflash (when it was still a safe site…)

If you’re wondering why it’s been awfully quiet on the “Chris Matthews for Senate” campaign front, I think I know the answer.

No, it’s not the holidays or the Caroline Kennedy saga, or the Illinois Senate Show featuring Blago and Burris. (Sounds like a vaudeville team, doesn’t it?)

Nope, ever since Ed Rendell’s brain went into waves of post-election synapse malfunction, it’s been quiet in Tweetie-land for other reasons.

As you will recall, dear reader, Eloquent Ed for Hillary morphed into an Obamacrat and has become a fan of fan, namely Matthews, who felt that tingle up his leg during the primary season. As Politico’s “The Scorecard” blog reported on December 12, 2008, Rendell slobbered:

“I don’t really know if he has made up his own decision…..he would be the strongest Democratic candidate without any doubt because he is so well known, because of his ability to raise money around the nation, he would be a strong candidate but Arlen Specter is very tough to beat in a general election cause he’s had a bond with suburban Democrats, Philadelphia Democrats, and he does very well with independent and those moderate Republicans.”

The above, of course, is true ObamaAnalysis, since it’s all about money and celebrity, with no facts at all about Matthews checkered life as a talk show host or political experience with Tip O’Neill.  But Rendell isn’t really just “analyzing”…his “longtime political consultant, Neil Oxman,” has been having little chats with Matthews, so Rendell is knee-deep in this particular Senate seat game.

In the Obama Universe, where there is never any vetting, Matthews seems to fit the bill as a celebrity candidate…he’s sort of like the “Al Franken of Philadephia,” I guess.

Ah, but this quiet time hides something that has been around for years.  In fact, I happened to find this obscure piece from 2001 that gives us a hint of something in Matthews’ past that might ordinarily cause concern. But these are not ordinary times; raising questions is so old school!  Anyway,  here’s the EXCLUSIVE!

CHRIS MATTHEWS TO UNDERGO PSYCHIATRIC TREATMENT

WASHINGTON February 10, 2001 — MSNBC political talk show host and San Franscisco Chronicle columnist Chris Matthews is reportedly preparing to enter a private psychiatric hospital on the advice of close family and friends.

Undisclosed sources report that Matthews, the tow-haired host seen on the hour-long “Hardball” program, has inexplicably started screaming at the top of his lungs.

“We don’t know what’s gotten into him,” one puzzled staffer stated. “With the exit of President Clinton, Chris has just lost it. It’s as if he’s been on drugs and now is being forced to go off them cold turkey. He’s just trying to hold on by digging up anything he can find about Clinton.”

Other sources close to the situation thinks the Clinton departure is only part of the story. “Chris is facing off against Fox’s Bill O’Reilly, who is losing it more and more often,” said a Hardball producer. “Chris feels that to compete, he has to raise the volume and get more into the faces of his guests.”

Matthews, who once worked for Democrat House Leader Tip O’Neill and calls himself a Democrat, seems to have undergone a marked personality change, according to a close family friend. “He seems to have studied the GOP playbook carefully and it’s taken over his brain. And, on top of that, he seems to be echoing the teachings of the Pope a lot more.”

“I’m afraid that if he has Peggy Noonan on as a guest one more time, he will be lost forever.”

Other associates fear that Matthews will have a stroke if his shouting continues unabated. “The blood vessels on his forehead are already bulging in an alarming manner and he’s beginning to stutter. We had hoped that by pitting him against James Carville he would have come to his senses and realized that he couldn’t compete at this level of aggression indefinitely. But it’s apparent that Chris can no longer see reality and we may have to cut the show back to its original half hour in order to control the situation,” commented a MSNBC executive.

Since 2001 there have been some changes, of course. Peggy Noonan concentrates her bloviating elsewhere these days. There’s a new Pope. And Matthews is no longer up against O’Reilly; he’s onfor an hour at 5 and 7 pm ET now, which is still a high-pressure schedule.  Sure, he’s opposite Shepherd Smith on the FOX Report at 5 and Hannity at 7…but at least he’s no longer being clobbered in the ratings by O’Reilly. But showing up to bestow his “deep thoughts” twice a night, all that serious, objective analysis, and taking on all those astute guests can’t help but be stressful.  For this sensitive and sincere man, this true patriot…a run for the Senate might bring welcome relief from the rigors of being a political talker.

So, it seems apparent to me that Matthews is guarding his health carefully since the “leak” about his possible Senate run.  And now, under the wing of  Ed Rendell, OUWT  (Obama Under Wraps Team) and the media, which will rally around one of their very own, that 2001 piece will probably be permanently banished down the memory hole.   It might take an awful lot of work at MSNBC to destroy the years of video tape of “Hardball” in  the vault, but I’m sure the committment is there!  OUWT will certainly be out in full force preparing us for the next media creation to hit the Senate!

I have to say this was an amazing thing put together by Greta van Susteren. Live from Alaska, an extensive interview with Sarah Palin. When the video goes up, WATCH!

I caught most of the filmed segment in the Governor’s Office where the discussion was about her being “handled” and her “feminism.”

Well, she was unapologetic about going off script…she wanted to talk more about the qualities of John McCain, the man, and she said she had no regrets when she did so.

As for the question about whether she was a feminist…She said she considered herself one, “whatever that means” and talked about all the things women who work and raise families have in common. Greta asked her if the flack from the left was about abortion, and Palin said most likely, but she said that the key thing was to work to lower the number of abortions through information, and all the other means at our disposal…She sounded pretty “Clintonian” to me on the subject. She clearly felt that if that was the “be end and end all,” then women were missing an opportunity to forge a stronger presence.

Greta also asked her about 2012 and she was quite open to 4 years or 8 years if things like family circumstances, etc. were favorable. In other words, she sounded like she was very open to the idea of getting out there again, and spoke about how much she would like to do something for the country on a broader scale.

The other subjects of conversation that stood out was when she talked about her family and how her kids saw that offensive 4-letter word on a T-shirt as they drove through Philadelphia.

And I was really ticked off again about all that degradation of Palin, how she was an insult and inexperienced, when, in the course of the conversation, said she was used to the hardball of politics even at the local level and how it didn’t faze her because she had been at it since 1992. Where was Obama in 1992?? What has he done that makes him more experienced as a leader than someone who has worked there way up since 1992??

By far the best part of the interview was conducted in her home….LIVE…from the kitchen, as she prepared dinner. She was taking the skin off a pile of big franks and she worked steadily on stuffing them with extras.  All the while, she spoke clearly on energy and how she wanted to see a cleaner planet and energy independence. She talked about how Alaska has as much coastline as the rest of the U.S. and how there are so many resources that can be developed through technology that can then be exported to other countries…tidal power, wind power, geothermal.  She felt that there was an opportunity for bringing together environmentalists and “the development crowd” as she described her leanings into a synergy where “something could get done.”

What really got me was how she MULTI-TASKED–cooking dinner and talking about all sort of complicated issues at the same time.  When have you seen a candidate for VP do THAT?? But this is what women do everyday, without skipping a beat…and what makes Sarah Palin a real person to so many people,  not just another pre-fabbed politician.

So the question I thought of was –Could BARACK OBAMA do that as smoothly and naturally?  I doubt it!  He is so scripted and basically, phony, that he wouldn’t even deign to pick up a hot dog and discuss energy policy at the same time!!  The joke used to be that Gerry Ford couldn’t walk and chew gum at the same time…Well, Sarah Palin doesn’t have THAT problem.

Tomorrow, there’s part 2 of the interview (Tuesday, 11/11)…I’ll be watching, for sure! (Moose chili on the menu…)  This interview tonight made it clear that Alaska is not hicktown…It looks like everwhere else in the US, for those who think Palin dropped in from another planet…(boy, what a great kitchen), which might be news to some of the “elite” who fester in DC.

After Greta, I happened to see a couple of minutes of Glenn Beck on O’Reilly. O’Reilly had opened with Palin’s discussion of the “jerks” out there and then Beck said an interesting thing: that she TOOK ON THE POWERFUL in the party…which lends credence to our suspicions about how they’re trying to do her in. He also said that she disagreed with McCain on a lot of things.  He said that she called him and told him that people weren’t booking her on shows, so she was going to do it herself. And she did…going on his show among others. More indication that she was getting a bum deal from her handlers…Nicolle Wallace, perhaps?  (See Sarah Palin, Nicolle Wallace, CBS, Katie Couric…Too Close for Comfort? (And What of George and Jeb?) O’Reilly said the media would “kill her” and my reaction was, “NOT IF I CAN HELP IT!”

All I can say is…GO SARAH!!!

Is Fox News self-censoring themselves in an attempt to curry favor with the incoming Obama administration? H/T to Days of Change for this link. Radio Equalizer says:

Fox News boss Roger Ailes doesn’t want to spoil Barack Obama’s political honeymoon, we hear. A source says Ailes has told prime-time hosts Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity and Greta Van Susteren to lay off the President-elect - at least for a while. “We’re not going to have any personal attacks on Obama,” a network insider says. “The public has spoken – we must treat him with respect.”

For those of you that have missed Megyn Kelly’s brilliant salvos at Bill Burton from the Obama campaign, Burton has been singling out Fox for being unfair in their coverage of Obama, a trend that Obama himself started at the Al Smith dinner and continued throughout the end of the campaign by Burton.

The piece goes on to claim that the marching orders came directly from News Corporation owner Rupert Murdoch.

The reason? News Corporation is bracing for potentially-vindictive actions by Obama’s incoming thugocracy, especially regarding dual station / newspaper ownership rules and apparently seeks to placate the Dear Leader, hoping he will be merciful.

I personally believe that Fox has been soft on Obama, and it looks like things are going to get even worse in the days to come. Guess we’d better all get used to submitting to the will of Dear Leader…

National Obama Day?

There is, believe it or not, a movement to establish a national holiday honoring Barack Obama. The Topeka Capital-Journal is calling for Inauguration Day to honor a man who has done nothing yet except win an election!

The goals are to secure a national holiday in Obama’s honor, to organize celebrations around his inauguration and to celebrate the 200th birthday of President Abraham Lincoln, who was born on Feb. 12 1809. (IA-GRL adds from the article: “Yes We Can” planning rallies will be at 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. every Tuesday at the downtown McDonald’s restaurant, 1100 Kansas Ave., until Jan. 13.)

At 7:30 a.m. on Inauguration Day, Obama Cake will be served at the downtown McDonald’s, and a celebration is scheduled for 8 p.m. to midnight Jan. 20 at the Ramada Hotel and Convention Center, 420 S.E. 6th.

My only possible response is to suggest a nation-wide boycott of McDonalds on January 20^th in protest for supporting this travesty! First off, as one commenter points out, we generally don’t create holidays named after famous people who aren’t dead yet. Secondly, what if this were to actually happen and then Barack Obama were to turn out to be the worst President we’ve ever had? (I know that thought never even occurred to these people, but it not only occurs to me, but strikes me as a strong possibility.)

Finally, in this fair burg I call home, a vet hung the flag upside down following the election (Thanks to GG for sending it to me…it was actually in the paper, but I don’t really pay too much attention to it, it’s such a rag.)

Las Cruces veteran upends flag to protest Obama

LAS CRUCES — If you happened to drive by Las Crucen Lou Schrader’s house Wednesday, you probably saw his American flag flying upside-down on a pole in the front yard.

It wasn’t by accident.

Schrader, 59, flew the flag upside-down for a day in protest of the election of Barack Obama as president. He’s calling the move a political statement against Obama’s platform.

Schrader, who lives on Ethel Avenue, said he also flew his flag upside-down both times Bill Clinton was elected.

“We have descended into a one-political-party nation,” he said. “The Democrats have taken over everything. We’re going to be taxed out of existence.”

Schrader assures his action was not racially motivated.

“It’s not that I’m a racist; I just don’t like this guy as an individual,” he said. “Some of the things Barack Obama said during his campaign has scared me to death, (such as) “let’s spread the wealth.’ Excuse me, that’s socialism.”

Schrader, a former member of the Navy, said he’s concerned Obama “hates the military.”

The flag wasn’t flying Thursday. Schrader said he only flies it on federal holidays and in protest of certain presidents winning office.

Schrader lives across the street from three Obama supporters, who happen to be black.

Neighbor Dimitris Kollaros, 32, seemed to be taking Schrader’s action with a grain of salt.”We were laughing about it all day long,” said Kollaros, interviewed Wednesday evening. “Now that there’s an African-American president, he’s protesting the U.S., and I think it’s funny because, if you love your country, you love it no matter what.”

According to U.S. Code, which contains laws about handling the American flag, the flag shouldn’t be displayed upside-down “except as a signal of dire distress in instances of extreme danger to life or property.”

Las Cruces police showed up at Schrader’s home Wednesday to check whether the flag was a distress signal.

According to http://www.ushistory.org, there aren’t penalties for violating the flag code, and the U.S. Supreme Court “has ruled that politically motivated violations of the flag code are protected by the First Amendment.”

As you can see, the neighbors immediately brought up race…first on their list of why it Schrader shouldn’t have hung the flag upside down. No mention of what the black neighbors thought, from what I can infer. And I have to wonder, who called the cops? Or did they just pass by?

Post Election Thoughts…The Last Salvo or REALITY BITES

There will never be a female President of the United States. There. I said it. Ladies, go home and grab your burkas and start cooking dinner for your man and popping out babies. You will never have equal pay for equal work, you will never be considered competent or capable at anything you ever do, and you stand no chance of ever getting anywhere unless it’s to a soccer or hockey game to cheer your (male) children on. Of course the laws will be wide open to allow you to abort female children so you don’t have to sully the landscape with them at all anymore.

How do I know? Because before even half the nation’s votes were tallied tonight, not only were all the major networks calling the race for Barack Obama, but the pundits are already discussing how Sarah Palin was John McCain’s downfall. Pundits attempting to defend her popularity with statistics were shot down on Fox News. That’s it – it’s over. You will not see another female Presidential candidate taken seriously in this country in our lifetimes. We’ll be lucky if we continue to see women continue to hold seats in the Senate and House after tonight. Female Governors? Forget about it. Palin won’t be re-elected there, because in spite of the fact that Alaska loved her (90% approval rating) just 4 months ago, she has been trashed and is now persona non grata in her own state courtesy of the Chosen One.

Hillary Clinton will lose her Senate seat in 2012. Barack Obama had determined that before she surrendered her fight for the Democratic nomination, and all the pundits are hammering how he “beat the Clinton machine”. She is toast. But frankly, that’s OK with me tonight. As far as I am concerned, Hillary is one of the top reasons that Barack Obama was able to destroy the United States Constitution and insinuate himself into the Presidency. She has lost my respect and she has lost my vote. She bears a huge responsibility for Obama’s victory. She gave up on America to save her career. She sold out her constituents and supporters for the proverbial 30 pieces of silver, and she will have to live with that for the rest of her life.

So here are my top reasons for the desecration and destruction of the Constitution of the United States of America:

Karl Rove: The Republican strategist was neck deep in foisting Obama on an unaware America. After his manipulations to get and keep George W. Bush in the White House, he pulled off the ultimate hoodwink by clandestinely switching sides and getting the most unelectable man in politics elected on literally no platform. His uncontrollable glee while watching the returns confirmed for me that he had more than just a casual involvement in the victory. I’m sure he is now convinced that he is the most powerful man in the world.

Hillary Clinton: She spent the primary convincing us how unqualified Obama was to be POTUS and how she would never quit fighting for the American people. After all is said and done, I believe history will prove her correct on the former point. After “suspending” her campaign and humiliating herself and her 18 million supporters at the Democratic convention, she fulfilled her promise to “work my heart out” and campaigned at full tilt for Obama till the very end and convinced a painful number of her supporters that Obama was a suitable replacement for her. Rather than stand on principle and speak out against Obama’s Constitutional ineligibility to serve as POTUS, she knowingly and willingly aided and abetted the criminal activities of Obama and the DNC.

Main Stream Media: Of course one of the biggest reasons for the destruction of the United States of America and life as we know it is the Main Stream Obamedia. I cannot adequately convey my disgust with them, but let’s face it; they created a President. We have allowed them to decide a Presidential election for the third time in a row, and there is no stopping them now. Plan on spending the rest of your lives (and money) on whatever crap they decide to sell you, whether it be political candidates, lousy programming, toothpaste, or male enhancement products. They bought the soul of America with infomercials and “reality” shows that don’t vaguely resemble reality. It was the Bargain of the Century.

Fox News: “Fair and Balanced” reporting was next to impossible to find this election season as MSNBC, CNN, NBC, CBS, and ABC immediately suited up for Team Obama during the primaries. Before the GE race started in earnest, Fox appeared to be the only source of coverage that wasn’t totally biased in favor of Obama. It turned out that was a sham. The first to start fawning over Obama was the shameless Bill O’Reilly. His disgust with John McCain overruled his whatever journalistic instincts he had, and he threw the race in order to feebly protest the people having chosen McCain as the Republican nominee. The rest of the network quickly followed suit with only a few exceptions (Megan Kelly stands out), and by election night they were quicker to call the race for Obama than nearly anyone and spent all their post-coital analysis slamming McCain for having has the cajones to even consider running in the first place, nonetheless with a woman on the ticket. In the end, it’s tough to decide if they were influenced by owner Rupert Murdoch’s endorsement of Obama or were just trying desperately to keep a luke-warm candidate from embarrassing the party. Either way, they garnered millions of cable viewers based on their supposed impartiality, then proceeded to join in the mass brainwashing, with unparalleled gusto by the last week of the campaign.

The Republican Party: In a year when the Republicans had virtually no chance in hell of taking the White House, true conservatives “allowed” the public to nominate John McCain in what they though was a throwaway election. Imagine their surprise when McCain actually started to show some signs of life (and without them)! After the base was reinvigorated by the brilliant announcement of Sarah Palin as McCain’s Vice Presidential nominee, the party had 2 choices: support the centrist McCain and try with gusto to steal the White House from the Democrats in a year that it was all but guaranteed to be theirs, or sit back and do nothing in quiet protest of the likelihood of a McCain victory. The party decided as an entity to do the latter, and the sheeple of the right within the party followed suit, complaining that he wasn’t really their man and they’d rather give the White House to the Dems than suffer losing their control of the party from the radical right. The party that a few short weeks before had looked like heroes for putting a woman on the ticket after the brutal ravaging of Hillary Clinton wound up looking like misogynists; campaign leaks called Palin a “rogue” and “out of control” in efforts to prevent her from seeking further national office in the future. In the end, it was not the leadership of the party or McCain, but the spineless conservative members who tanked an election and gave up control of Congress rather than let a woman near the White House.

The Democratic Party: Howard Dean, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Donna Brazile, Jimmy Carter, Zbigniew Brezinski and other Democratic leaders colluded, long before the start of the 2008 Presidential campaign, to use radical tactics to steer the party to the far left and overthrow the legitimate government of the United States. They selected a young, unknown freshman Senator from Illinois with literally no history and molded him into their dream candidate. Their plan to use race as a means to energize the African American voter base and intimidate whites into voting out of guilt and fear dripped of cynicism and hatred for America. The one obstacle that stood in their way was popular front-runner Hillary Clinton. With unprecedented viciousness, the DNC and Obama campaign launched an all out misogynistic attack on Clinton, accompanied by charges of racism against her, husband Bill Clinton, and literally all of her 18 million supporters. Suddenly empowered by the report-nothing media, they started to publicly break their own rules, change rules midstream, change and assign votes cast to their chosen candidate, and lie about virtually everything. Once their ravaging of Clinton brought her to her knees, they thought they were golden, until John McCain chose Sarah Palin as his running mate. Unequipped to handle the public’s adoration of the Alaska Governor, they trashed Palin with lies, innuendo, and false charges which were all lustily covered by the media. Their destruction of everything female in this country now stands complete, and sadly I know many women that voted Democratic yesterday, probably a straight party ticket. When all is said and done, it will be shown that the Democratic brand is nothing more than the flip side of the people that brought us the corrupt Republican brand of George W. Bush.

The Socialists: I won’t spend time right now going into repeated detail about the likes of William Ayers, Bernadette Dohrn, Khalid al Mansour, et al. Let it be enough to say that an organized Socialist movement that started smoldering in the 1960s burst into full flames this year and will soon sweep this nation like wildfire. Their efforts were deliberate, domestic terrorism and I’m quite sure that Timothy McVeigh is smiling like mad from his platform in hell.

Mob Rule: You can include the illegal activities of ACORN in this category or the one above – take your pick. Angry blacks, agitated to the brink of race war by the Obama machine, and young white college types determined to put a black man (any black man – with man being the operative word) in the highest office in the land to assuage their white guilt, threatened to riot, bullied opponents mercilessly online, and even intimidated other voters while standing in line to vote by discussing the riots that would ensue if Obama lost. Never underestimate the bullying of thugs both physical and psychological. I also include trolls in this category, because without their relentless assault on literally every website that ever posted even 1 word in opposition to Obama, this victorious annihilation of all common sense and decency would not have been possible. Pat yourselves on the backs, Psy Ops Warriors! Job well done. There will be posts for all of you in the new Civilian Police Force, dragging PUMAs off to re-education camps, so the fun isn’t nearly over yet.

“4th Wave” Feminists: Never underestimate the power of women defiling other women in this coup d’etat. Names like Nancy Pelosi, Donna Brazile, Claire McCaskill, Arianna Huffington, Erica Jong, Alice Germond, Peggy Noonan, Maureen Dowd, Oprah Winfrey, and literally every woman in Hollywood leap to mind in this category at first blush, but let’s not take the credit away from the invisible everyday “feminist”. I’m talking the ones that cried “It’s not that I don’t want a woman President, I do. Just not that woman!” and “I just can’t believe they picked Sarah Palin. That woman isn’t qualified to be President!” They did more to demoralize and frustrate the efforts of every woman in this nation than we have seen in decades. As I stated at the outset, these women (the type who live merely to find men and have no sense of self outside their relationships) have ensured that I shall not live to see a female President of the United States of America. Perhaps it makes them feel more powerful in their own meaningless lives, but they are traitors to us, to themselves, and to this Republic. They have played a vital role in pushing back the clock to roughly the 1920s as far as Women’s Rights are concerned. And I will not be able to laugh or say I told you so when they realize the aftereffects of what they have done.

The American People: Ultimately, the blame must lie with those who did nothing or not enough to stop this decline during this and the previous 5 administrations. I count myself in the latter category. I apparently awoke too late to stop the juggernaut of the New World Order. I fought like mad at the end (during the last year), but like most of America I was asleep at the wheel when people like both George Bush 41 & 43, Reagan, Carter, and even Bill Clinton steered this nation towards the slippery slope that it is on today. I watched and either complained or ignored as our liberties were slowly eroded. I bristled at the overt actions, but was easily assuaged back to my complacency when adjustments were made to allow my comfort level to return. I sold my country out for the ability to buy PCs, cell phones, SUVs, bigger houses, designer clothing, “organic” foods, and other such frivolities. I got angry and excited at an unseen enemy when my handlers in the media told me it was time to do so. I ranted about Global Warming and going Green, signed up for an HMO that had nothing whatsoever to do with Health Maintenance or even getting better when I was sick or injured, and dug deep into my pockets to help others less fortunate than I around the world when disasters struck and even remained silent when I had to do it for my own countrymen in the Hurricane ravaged south after Katrina and other storms showed that our government was unwilling and incapable of helping our own in time of need, regardless of how many tax dollars they had paid into the system. I kept silent. I averted my eyes. I deafened myself to the sure sounds of corruption and moral decay. And I turned off my feelings for my fellow Americans long enough for them to become so very angry that they would lash out at me in fury to destroy America as payment for my complacency. And for that, I am truly sorry America. I have failed you.

I Demand More Than Your Vote: I Want Your Mind!

I want, no make that need, you to join me in supporting a critical nationwide movement. This Wednesday, October 29, 2008, Senator Barack Obama has purchased half-hour blocks of programming on NBC, CBS, and Fox News Channel. His intent, I firmly believe, is to use Neuro Associative Conditioning (NAC) and Ericksonian Hypnosis to subconsciously influence millions of voters to “pull the lever” for him on November 4^th whether they want to or not. We must do everything possible to stop the American public from watching.

As GRL pointed out last Sunday in the The Past Week roundup for October 12-18, there is substantial evidence (pdf file) that Obama is using hypnosis techniques to win supporters any way he can. Please take the time to read at least the majority of the linked pdf file; I know it is extremely long, but it is important and explains in great detail what I cannot in this limited space. After you read it, forward it to all of your friends. I don’t care if they are McCain die-hards, PUMAs, or part of the Oborg. Everyone needs to read this information, and while I know it sounds somewhat over the top, I hope to convince you why this is so important.

So let’s talk a bit about Neuro Associative Conditioning (NAC). Many years ago, in my youth, I was a student of one Anthony J. Robbins. Robbins. There have been rumors on the web for months that Senator Obama is a protégé of Robbins. For those of you that have somehow managed to avoid his influence, is a world-renowned master of psychological operations (Psy-Ops) in the form of Ericksonian hypnosis, NLP, and his own form of this, which he calls NAC. He is a trainer of athletes, movie stars, businessmen, and politicians. Tony is best known for his famous Fire Walking seminars, where he used to teach ordinary people to walk across 2,000+ degree coals in their bare feet. His methods are quite powerful; I have done it twice myself, and have seen literally hundreds of others do the same. Robbins twist on NLP (see pdf file for a description of NLP) is what he calls Anchoring. This involves using a physical unique gesture to link to the feelings you create using NLP and hypnosis. Robbins teaches that you can use anchoring to link the feeling of calm, centered energy and power you feel just before Fire Walking so you can access them at will simply by repeating your unique gesture. Or in Obama’s case, you can link the anchor to the subconscious message you’ve imbedded in your subject’s mind using Ericksonian hypnosis. The pdf file goes into great detail about how this is done, but for simplicity’s sake, all you need to know is Obama’s main unique gesture is this (look at his right hand):

So why, you might ask, is this seemingly innocent hand gesture so important in Obama’s quest to seize control of our nation? Simple; it is designed to make you remember a message that he has implanted (or at least tried to) in the depths of your brain to vote for him on November 4^th. He has been using this gesture for months, but the true success of NLP and NAC is in repetition. The more you see it, the deeper it is embedded and the stronger the subconscious response becomes. On Wednesday, Obama wants to use this half hour to ensure that everyone in America who watches will vote for him when they are triggered by their own action of picking up a pen to cast their vote. (And of course, there is always time to embed future instructions about what to do after the election.)

I’m sure by now the skeptics and Obama supporters are laughing their heads off, but admit it; just a little tiny part of you somewhere is wondering if there might just be something to this. That’s the rational part of your brain trying to battle the non-rational subconscious that’s been NAC’ed. You’ve been programmed to go against your own instincts, and while NAC is very powerful, ultimately the brain you were born with is more powerful if you can only release it. The less emotional you are when the programming is done, the less likely it is to “take”. That is exactly why the Obama campaign spends so much time trying to whip you into an emotional frenzy. That’s why he gets people excited with race-baiting and misogyny (although with the misogyny he’s taken a big gamble that he can pull this off without offending women, which I believe he lost; he’s playing on a centuries-old core societal instinct that men are more powerful and important than women and using that belief to agitate the masses into behaving badly against women). For those of you who’ve wondered why the mainstream media have been so pro-Obama, think about it; who has been more exposed to his speeches, his gestures, his patterns, his hypnosis techniques than those who are paid to watch his every move? Why do you think Obama touches people (especially reporters) so intimately? He’s using touch as part of his hypnosis! NAC is all about using sights (gestures and symbols), sounds (slogans like “Yes, We Can” and “Change You Can Believe In”), and intentional touch (when possible) to link your message deeply.

If you’re still skeptical, stop and ask yourself one simple question: Why would Barack Obama scramble to buy up Prime Time TV slots just 6 days before the election? Even MSNBC seems to recognize the unusual and historic implications of this move:

Short political spots have been the traditional way for politicians to communicate with voters. But a prime-time, sitcom-length commercial would provide Obama an opportunity to make a closing argument to the entire country.

“It’s a luxury to be able to afford that kind of communication,” said Tad Devine, a Democratic media consultant who was a senior adviser to John Kerry’s 2004 presidential campaign.

If Obama was far ahead as the polls indicated 2 weeks ago when he purchased this time, why would he need to make this unprecedented TV buy at the 11^th hour? Why not radio; it’s much cheaper? Why not print ads; also less expensive? The answer is simple – he needs a visual media in order to convey his message. He needs the power of television to plant his subliminal messages and anchor them to the visualization of holding his thumb and forefinger together (as if holding a pen), so when Americans go into the voting booth they will trigger his message within their own subconscious when they grasp a pen to cast their votes.

In case you think I’m the only one that’s noticed this, commenter Hal at Uppity Woman’s blog observed:

A friend has satellite TV in West Virginia and wrote to me that there are, not one, but two channels in the lineup with 24/7 Obomber propaganda.

Now, why would that be? For starters, Obomber and Axelrod are so damn scared that no one has lost WV and won the presidency that they are swamping the Mountaineer state with nonstop ads and pissing off people of that little state in the process.

Before making all these compliments of FOX, you must realize that Rupert Murdoch never met a greenback that he could resist. Whether you call it “good business” or not, Murdoch OWNS Direct TV.

He OWNS a network that will broadcast Obomber’s informercial right before the World Series starts.

Repeat lies often enough and they’re the accepted truths.

I would add to this to say that Obama feels the people of West Virginia need more programming than the rest of America. As far as Fox, it is obvious that Obama has used NAC on Bill O’Reilly –remember the knee touching?– and probably several other reporters and owner Rupert Murdoch (normally a conservative, but uncharacteristically supporting Obama this time through). And they are even delaying the start of World Series in order to accommodate “That One”.

AND I am not voting for Obama-Biden.

I am so tired of hearing about Obama spending big bucks to run his infomercial on October 29th by trying to blanket mainstream television airways.

I think we need to begin to promote a “Turn off Obama-TV” on October 29th. I say – Do NOT Listen to or Watch Obama’s 30 minute commercial on October 29, 2008. Obama thinks he can MAKE us listen to what he has to say by spending all that money in order to have his commercial on several networks at the same time. We do NOT have to listen. We do NOT have to support this gimmick.

Let’s all participate in: “Turn Off Obama-TV” that night. On October 29th for that specific 30 minutes: Push mute – Turn down the sound – Change the channel – or Turn off the television. Do not listen to any more of Obama’s hot air, false promises or his lies about McCain-Palin.

INSTEAD for that 30 minutes do something else with your brain cells — (here’s a few ideas)

Watch a different tv program
Watch a DVD or video
Listen to the radio
Listen to a CD
Read a book or magazine
Play a board game
Surf the web
Watch YouTube videos
Call a friend on the phone
Play a video game
Write an email to a friend
Work on one of the word games or word puzzles in the newspaper
Play the piano (or instrument of your choice)
Do some exercising
Play a card game
Work on your family’s scrapbooks
Bake Halloween cookies or cupcakes
Work on your favorite hobby

Between now and Oct 29th – Let others know that you are choosing NOT to listen to & to NOT watch Obama’s commercial. And encourage others to join in a national response to this media effort.

Please join me by choosing to turn away from Obama’s efforts to control the outcome of this election by spending so much money on a one night media blitz.

Tell all your family & friends to “Turn Off Obama-TV” on Oct. 29th!!

I wish there was a more radical way that I could make Americans understand the importance of not watching this program. My hope is that most of America is so sick and tired of the election that the concept of watching another solid half hour of a politician droning on for 30 minutes will just plain turn them off naturally. But if there is even one single person that you can influence in your circle of family, friends, and co-workers, please urge them to stay away from this broadcast. If they are already an Obama supporter, they don’t need to hear more of the same. If they are against Obama, they don’t need convincing. If they are undecided, ask them to read a transcript of the program on Thursday, or read a recap. And I cannot emphasize this enough: DO NOT PUT LINKS TO THE BROADCAST ON YOUR WEBSITE! If you want to share details, do it with printed words. As many PUMAs have noticed, reading Obama’s speeches leaves one quite confused as to why the masses are so enthralled with him. The words themselves have little or no meaning. He rarely answers questions that he is asked (except in the disastrous case of Joe the Plumber), and has a strange speech pattern that lulls one into a hypnotic waking-sleep trance. This is NLP at its best, and Obama at his worst.

In these final days of the election, it’s important to use every tool at our disposal to stop the overthrow of America. Please spread the word; feel free to link to this article, pass the pdf file around, and most importantly discuss this as a proven scientific process. Anthony Robbins has made millions of dollars using NAC, and Barack Obama hopes to use it to take over America.

Two leading infomercial stars agree: Barack Obama‘s half-hour self-promotion last night was a flop.

“I don’t see enough smiling. Doom and gloom totally,” said Anthony Sullivan, one of the biggest names in infomercial history.

“I feel depressed right now,” added Sullivan, an Englishman famous for his infomercials touting the Swivel Sweeper and Smart Chopper. The only thing saving Obama, Sullivan said, was when the candidate appeared live at the end speaking at a rally in Florida.

“I think it needed it. I was about to throw myself through a window because it was depressing,” Sullivan said.

He and AJ Khubani, who has produced infomercials for 25 years, said Obama also fell short of offering solutions to the dire problems he laid out.

“I didn’t see a payoff. Classic infomercial is you show the before and you show the after. I didn’t see the music or the crashing waves of the Pacific,” Sullivan said.

He joked the producer “needs a spanking” for lacking optimism.

Khubani said: “Every infomercial lays out common problems, whether it’s a flabby belly or acne, and then it gives a solution. In this case the solution is Obama.”

But Obama didn’t pitch the product – himself – convincingly enough, he argued.

“We always spend much more time on the solution than the problem and he did the opposite,” Khubani added.
